Barrett named Information Technology Chief

As Chief of Information Technology, Barrett is responsible for overseeing all District information technology operations.
Prior to his selection as the Information Technology Chief, Barrett served as Chief Information Officer for the Seventh Civil Support Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Other assignments include Plans Officer Combined Arms Center Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Plans Officer 21st Theater Support Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Deputy Directorate of Information Management, Dugway Proving Ground Utah; and Information Technology Specialist United States Army Medical Department
Activity, Heidelberg, Germany. He also serves as a Signal Officer in the United States Army Reserves.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Barrett holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and a Masters in Business Administration.
