The mission of the First Stage Theatre Company is to provide opportunities for children to develop social and communication skills by participating in the performing arts and to provide fine arts education through the presentation of theatrical productions to children and families in our community.
That mission is accomplished with "School House Rock Live." Director Amy Browning uses a cast of 41 children to provide the entertainment with acting, singing, dancing and a live band for the music. Parents, family members and friends will be proud of their children that have been cast in this show.
The show takes place in a school house with teachers, education, song and dance. Many of the audience members will be able to relate some of their school memories to the entertaining show.
Ashleigh Bills served as the assistant director and technical director; John McAllister is the musical director and Melissa McGuffin Director of Premiere Dance Studio is the choreographer.
