MU SOCCER: Marshall Ties SMU After 2 OT's

Marshall came into the game 6-4-0 and a perfect 3-0 Conference USA mark. SMU also was 6-4-0 and 1-1 in Conference USA.
With perfect weather for the match up Marshall called for a green out to support the men's soccer team. Marshall fans responded wearing green and filling the stands. Many watched while standing along the fence. There were prizes and give aways for the fans adding more excitement.
SMU scored first with a goal from Arthur Ivo giving SMU a 1-0 lead. Marshall responded in the second period with a goal from Anthony Virgara to tie the score 1-1.
There the score remained 1-1 at the end of two 45 minute periods. Two more periods of 10 minutes each were played in overtime, but both Marshall and SMU remained tied 1-1. Marshall still remains undefeated in Conference USA play.
