Wayne Comes from Behind for Victory

The explosive power of Wayne was evident when they scored 12 points in under a minute as the second quarter started taking a 12-0 lead. Scott came back to score 12 points and Wayne led Scott 18-12 as the half ended.
Scott in the third quarter took a 20-18 lead making it look as if the Pioneers might be in some trouble.
In the fourth quarter the Wayne offense exploded again for 32 points in those 12 minutes and the defense held Scott to their 20.
Wayne High School senior Jordan Merritt was crowned the 2011 Homecoming Queen at the half.
