PRATS’ POINTS
Quotes by Coach Tiffany Prats:
On today’s performance:
“We posted our best round of the year today at 299. This morning the conditions were great and the winds picked up on our back nine which is where we gave some shots back. With this first round we have hit our first goal of not shooting ourselves out of the tournament. Today’s round we really started out hot and we will try to do the same tomorrow and continue it into the final nine. This course sets up great for us. Tomorrow we will try to put up a low round and move up the board.”
On Pimrawee Huang:
“Ning [Huang] posted her best collegiate round today. She hit 12 of 14 fairways and 15 of 18 greens. Those kind of days equal great scores. She had four birdies on the day. She committed to taking it one shot at a time and you could see how much of a fun time she had today.”
