Huntington, WV ‐ The Financial $tability PartnershipTM of the River Cities, a United Way initiative, will be
hosting “West Virginia Individual Development Account (WVIDA) Initiative.

The information session will be held on February 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. Individual Development Accounts (IDA’s), are special
matched savings accounts designed to help families and individuals of modest means establish a pattern
of regular saving and, ultimately, purchase a “productive asset.”


The session will be held at the United Way of the River Cities office, located at 820 Madison Avenue,
Huntington, WV and is open to the public. Anyone interested in attending the workshop should call
304‐523‐8929, Ext. 6 for more information; however, pre‐registration is not required. The workshop is
presented by The Kanawha Institute for Social Research & Action, Inc. (KISRA). KISRA, a HUD‐certified
Housing Counseling Agency and Community Housing Development Organization, is also the faith‐based
and community‐serving initiative of Ferguson Memorial Baptist Church.
