HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Marshall athletic ticket office will conduct a football season ticket “choose your seat” program on Friday, June 26 from 3-7 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

The office, located in the Cam Henderson Center, will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. that day, at which point all operations will transfer to Gate A at Edwards Stadium. Ticket office representatives will be on hand to help all customers looking to purchase season tickets for the 2015 season, along with any other ticket-related questions.

“Season ticket sales are going well but we are always hungry to sell more as the expectations for our nationally recognized program continue to rise,” said Aaron Goebbel, MU Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs.

Marshall football players will stop by throughout the day to chat with fans and sign autographs. There will be door prizes, schedule posters, raffles, and special ticket offers during the event.

“It is no surprise that our fan base has stepped up once again, but we need to continue to have the support that mirrors what we are accomplishing on the field,” said Ryan Crisp, Marshall’s new Director of Ticketing.

This date will mark the last chance fans will have to obtain the best seats in the house, as single-game tickets will go on sale later that evening at HerdZone.com for current season ticket holders only. Season ticket holders will be contacted by email with information on how to access their online ticket accounts to purchase tickets for any of Marshall’s six home games after the choose your seat earlier in the evening.

The first time season ticket holders may call the ticket office at 800-THE-HERD to purchase single-game tickets will be Monday, June 29. It is recommended that customers use HerdZone.com to purchase and save.

Then, all remaining single-game tickets will go on sale Friday, July 17 at 5 p.m. on HerdZone.com. Tickets for all of Marshall’s six away games also are on sale to the general public.

The ticket office will also offer print-at-home and mobile ticketing options to fans for the first time this season. More information about those options will be announced as the season nears.
