HUNTINGTON, W.Va. –American Sports Network has set the start times for Marshall football’s home dates with Norfolk State (Sept. 19) and Old Dominion (Oct. 3) for 3:30 p.m. ET, the Conference USA office announced Monday.


The matchup with Norfolk State will be the first-ever between the two schools, while last year’s meeting with the Monarchs was also a first, and it resulted in a 56-14 Marshall victory.

American Sports Network is the home for sports fans to learn, be inspired and entertained while celebrating the games, athletes, coaches and community across all media platforms. The game with NSU will also be part of Marshall’s Hall of Fame weekend, when the department will induct Thundering Herd legends Jessica Braga (Volleyball), Chris Deaton (Football), Jim Glass, Jr. (deceased, Basketball), Joe Goddard (Baseball), Johnathan Goddard (deceased, Football), Sara Gulla (Softball), Carl Hewlett (Baseball), Chris Massey (Football) and Tim Openlander (Football).

Marshall will hold a season ticket Choose-Your-Seat day on Friday, June 26 from 3-7 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
The first time season ticket holders may call the ticket office at 800-THE-HERD to purchase single-game tickets will be Monday, June 29. It is recommended that customers use HerdZone.com to purchase and save.

Then, all remaining single-game tickets will go on sale Friday, July 17 at 5 p.m. on HerdZone.com. Tickets for all of Marshall's six away games also are on sale to the general public.

The ticket office will also offer print-at-home and mobile ticketing options to fans for the first time this season. More information about those options will be announced as the season nears.
