District 2 councilman schedules morning coffee talks to connect with constituents

Updated 6 years ago From Press Release

HUNTINGTON -- Huntington City Councilman Bill Rosenberger, who represents District 2, wants to be sure he is accessible to the residents and business owners of West Huntington.

To help meet that goal, he is starting “Coffee with the Councilman,” to be held every other Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The kickoff coffee talk is Monday, Aug. 31, at Shoney's on Washington Avenue.

"It's difficult to walk every street in your district and talk to every resident and shop owner. It's much easier to meet in a comfortable place and let them come spend some time with me sharing a cup of coffee and letting me know what's on their mind," Rosenberger said.

"It's an opportunity for them to ask questions and share concerns and an opportunity for me to personally greet the people I was appointed to serve."

The next “Coffee with the Councilman” will be Monday, Sept. 14, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Shoney's.
