HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall men’s soccer team announced three upcoming camps designed to meet all skill levels and age groups Monday.

The Herd’s Elite ID Camp runs from July 23-24 and is designed to show aspiring college soccer players what playing the college game is like.

The men’s and women’s soccer teams will combine their expertise on June 30-July 1, for the Goalkeeper-Striker camp, which puts players in game situations to hone the techniques of both goalkeepers and goal scorers.

On July 25-28, the men’s soccer team also hosts the Men’s Soccer Day Camp, which is open to any and all players, ages 5-13.

"We are happy to announce our summer camp series for 2016,” Herd coach Bob Gray said. “Our camps continue to grow as soccer does in our state, as well as our program nationally. We moved back our Elite ID camp until July to allow a lot of players we recruit, at either the Regional Championships across the country or US Development Academy playoffs, to make our 2-day Summer Elite ID Camp. Our goalkeeper striker camp continues to grow and attract soccer players from all over the region that want to have some fun and get better at finishing and saving. And lastly, for those young budding soccer players, we have our annual Marshall Soccer School Day Camp. We always have a tremendous turnout from the community at this event and expect nothing less this year."
