Marshall Set for Third Annual Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall men’s golf team will conclude its regular season at the third annual Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at The Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

Senior Logan Lagodich (Canton, Ohio) finished in a tie for 17th among 115 individuals as Marshall posted its best round of the 2016 spring season on March 27 at the Furman Intercollegiate at Furman University Golf Course. It was Lagodich’s third top 20 finish of the school year, recording a 2-under-par 214. The Herd carded a 287 in the final round, its best day of the spring season, to finish in a tie for 11th. Marshall scored an 872 for the tournament, its lowest 54-hole score of the spring.

Participating teams (17): Bowling Green, Delaware, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Old Dominion, Siena, St. Bonaventure, Towson, Western Carolina, WKU, William & Mary, Youngstown State.

Monday – 36 holes; 9 a.m. shotgun start (*may change due to weather)
Tuesday – 18 holes; 9 a.m. shotgun start (*may change due to weather)
