Michael J. Fox, Robert Zemeckis, and a now extinct , expensive DeLorean made "Back to the Future" (1985) and its "every bit as classy, clever and cockle-warming" as when it was first released , wrote Tom Huddleston, Time Out critic. You can take a flashback voyage Wednesday, July 27 @ 2 & 7 p.m. on select Marquee big screens.

This time traveling yarn sent  bullied Marty McFry back to the 1950's courtesy of Christopher Lloyd's time machine where he tries to fix the acrimonious relationship endured by his parents who are also bullied by dad's work supervisor. However, Marty attempted adjustments scratch his own existence, sending him on another excursion.

A portion of the film's fun rests on the political and materialistic similarities of the 80s and 50s and their musical , fashion and language contrasts. "Kids and parents alike will dig this wonderful fantasy," wrote Kathleen Carroll in the New York Daily News.

The fusion  of science-fiction, action, romance and sky and sophisticated comedy remains an ingenious 80s summer icon.

Flashback continues its summer blockbuster resurrections on July 31 and Aug 3 with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in the sing-a-long version of "Grease."
