The game, one of three Marshall will play against Big East Conference teams this season, will be broadcast on ESPN3 by logging on to espn.com.

The Thundering Herd (4-0) is coming off a 69-64 win at UNC-Wilmington on Tuesday, its first road test of the season. After falling quickly behind 8-0, the Herd built a lead as big as 16 in the second half before hanging on for the four-point win.

Sophomore guard and Preseason Conference USA First Team member DeAndre Kane improved on his team-leading 16.5 points per game with 19 against the Seahawks. Senior guard Damier Pitts scored a game-high 21 points including 19 in the first half. Junior forward Dennis Tinnon continues to lead the Herd in rebounding this season with 7.5 per game.

The Bearcats (3-1) are coming off a 71-43 win over Northwestern State on Monday. Four Bearcat players are averaging double-figures in scoring with senior forward Yancy Gates leading the way with 14.5 points per game. The All-Big East second team member also leads the team with 9.8 rebounds per game.

Cincinnati was ranked 20th nationally before falling to Presbyterian 56-54 on Nov. 19. The Bearcats and the Herd share three common opponents so far this season. Alabama State, Jacksonville State and Northwestern State were each beaten by Marshall in Huntington two days before making the three-hour drive to Cincinnati. The Bearcats won all three games as well.

This will be the 31st meeting between Marshall and Cincinnati and the first since 2000. It is just the second meeting since 1983 (18 seasons). The Bearcats lead the series 19-11.

In addition to ESPN3, the game can be heard on radio stations throughout the Thundering Herd Network. Livestats can also be accessed through GoBearCats.com.
