OVERNIGHT: Fifty Deaths Reported Following Worst Mass  Shooting in US History at Vegas County Concert

At least 50 people have died and over two hundred   injured in what had been described as an "active shooting" incident at about 6:30 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas. NBC reporting machine gunman fired into crowd from the 32nd floor of a hotel. 64-year-old Suspect dead; police have located  gunman's girl friend. Search warrants being executed.

"Right now we believe he was the lone person," according to the Clark County Sheriff at a 4:35 a.m. news conference. "We believe up to 3 off-duty officers attending the concert may have died."

One report stated that hospitals are "stacked" and "we've never seen anything like this."  Many are in critical condition. The Clark County Sheriff indicated that as of now in the on going investigation , they believe it was a "lone wolf" shooter.

Country music star Jason Aldean, band and crew unharmed.
