Charleston, W.Va.—The 2011 golf season is right around the corner, so that means the West Virginia Golf Association is gearing up for its annual tour of Rules of Golf Seminars. This year, the WVGA will hold 11 sessions around the state, the first Rules Seminar beginning this Friday, Feb. 11 at Fairmont Field Club from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Each year, the WVGA provides USGA Rules of Golf seminars as a free service to its members. Participants of the seminars can look forward to an educational, interactive experience, complete with some of the most common Rules of Golf situations, such as water hazards and bunkers, to obstructions, cart path relief and more. Participants will also have the chance bring up their own unique and complex Rules situations to find the best solutions, as well as take a practice Rules of Golf quiz.
