Appalachian Film Festival 2012 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, WV (HNN) - The Appalachian Film Festival takes places Feb 23-25 at the Black Sheep Burrito (Feb 23) and the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center (Feb. 24-25). "The Last Ride," a film based on the last days of Hank Williams, will be a special presentation , Sat. Feb . 25 at the Keith starting at 8:30 p.m. 

Huntington filmmaker David Smith will be showing "Coconuts for You," a "micro" film at 7:35 p.m Friday, Feb. 24. His past credits include the hilarious, dark feature, "Maneater," and "Candymakers."

Features to be shown are: "If I Had Wings to Fly," "It's in the Blood," "Lake Effects," "Ai Means Love," and "A Dead Dog Like Me." The parody of Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth," titled, "Inconsistent Truth," which debunks the global warming controversy will also be shown.
