The Heritage Station Shop Owners’ Association presents “Silent Night, Deadly Night!” an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Party January 20-21 & 27-28, nightly at 7pm, at Heritage Station at 210 Eleventh Street in Huntington, WV. ‘Murder and Merriment’ will provide the entertainment each night. By popular demand, an extra weekend has been added. Come see it (if its not sold out again), Feb. 2-3.

“Silent Night, Deadly Night!” is a wintry tale of murder, greed, and deceit set at a mountain ski lodge. An eccentric group of guests are staying at Heritage Ski Resort when a blizzard strikes and an avalanche closes the only road leading down the mountain. The resort owner is found brutally stabbed, and the suspects find themselves snowed in – unable to escape the wiles and deductions of mystery writer and amateur detective, Ellery King.

The cast features local actors:   Kendra Egnor, Bill Tussey, Josh Taylor, Sarah Diamond Burroway, Brian Cook, Ashley Taylor, Kennedy Snider, Greg Kiser, and George R. Snider III.  Heritage Station has been home to a variety of successful murder mysteries, such as: “The Murdered Mistress,” Marriage, Mob, & Murder,”  “Murder at the Opera,” “A Murderous Reunion,” and “Goering’s Diamonds.”

‘A Taste From Above’  will be serving a catered dinner to the Guests.

Tickets are $35 each and must be reserved by calling 1-304-523-7526.

Kevin Brady, Director of the Greater Parks and Recreation District and Tyson Compton, President of the Cabell-Huntington Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, along with the shop owners in Heritage Station seek to provide exposure to the small businesses in the Downtown Huntington marketplace, as well as showcase the creative talents of our area. Sharing a vision of revitalization, Heritage Station has become a busy artisan retail complex and home to regular entertainment featuring a cadre of new shops, including an event planner, an artisan bakery, a craft beer store, a cigar store, a local jeweler, a watercolor gallery, a re-use garden store, two artisan galleries, a vintage clothing shop and mid-century gallery, and much more.

Murder and Merriment has successfully presented Murder Mystery Parties throughout the Tri-State area since 2010. At these parties, Guests receive clue booklets which give them details on the mystery, a dossier on each of the Suspects, and a section to take notes. At the end of the mystery, Guests have the opportunity to vote on who they think committed the crime and compete for valuable prizes. The performers come from a talent pool of experienced actors from West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky and have made the productions a hit with audiences everywhere they have been performed.
