Although an iconic vocalist, Manilow has an on-going charity project --- The Manilow Fund for Health and Hope. It's dedicated to responding to needs of public schools and their severely depleted music programs. The nonprofit fund's mission statement asks for donations of instruments and school music materials.

After having rocked Las Vegas for five sold out years of "Manilow: Music and Passion" at the Las Vegas Hilton, he returned to the Theatre des Arts at the Paris Hotel on March 2010.

Having recorded six critically acclaimed albums of songs written by the greatest songwriters of all time, Manilow returns to his true passion --- songwriter. His newest album/CD, 15 Minutes contains his first original song in ten years. Inspired by the Andy Warhol quote that "everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes," critics have called the album/CD, "edgy, guitar-driven pop... a captivating musical odyssey exploring the perils and pinnacles of fame's double edged sword."

Ranked as the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time (Radio & Records) he had no less than 25 consecutive Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1975 and 1983. To date, twenty-nine albums by Barry Manilow have been certified platnium, while Barry Manilow Live (1977) , Even Now (1978) and Greatest Hits (1978) are esach certified triple platnium.

Manilow headlined the recent  Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslow, Norway, where The Washington Post wrote, "In a world forever striving for peace, could Barry Manilow be the answer?"

The musicial describes himself in the most simplest of terms:

"I am a musician.  My passion for music has obliterated everything in its path for my entire life.  Whenever there was a choice between music and anything else, music won hands down every time.  No one person or material thing could ever come close to the feeling I get when the music is right.  I am totally committed to my music and my fans."
