Marshall Athletics Announces Spring Weekend Activities

HUNTINGTON, WV - Marshall Athletics has released details for Spring Weekend, which will take place on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th.


The 34th Annual Big Green Banquet, billed as “An Evening with the Pros”, will be held thatFriday at 7 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center. Individual tickets are $80 and table sponsorships, which also include access to the pros reception, are $2,000. Scheduled to appear at the event, which will be hosted by former MU Hall of Fame quarterback Chad Pennington, are former Thundering Herd greats Daniel Baldridge (Jacksonville Jaguars), Ahmad Bradshaw (N.Y. Giants), Chris Crocker (Cincinnati Bengals), Mario Harvey (Indianapolis Colts), Byron Leftwich (Pittsburgh Steelers), Doug Legursky (Pittsburgh Steelers), Chris Massey (Chicago Bears), Albert McClellan (Baltimore Ravens), Lee Smith (Buffalo Bills) and C.J. Tickets are now on sale for the 2012 Green and White Spring Football Game, which will be held at2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28th and can be purchased through the Marshall Ticket Office by calling 800-THE-HERD, visiting, or by visiting the Cam Henderson Center Box Office. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (17 and under). All seating is general admission. Parking passes can also be ordered through the ticket office for $20. Each parking pass is good for any space located on the West, Annex, and Softball lots on a first come, first served basis. Customers who purchase parking passes prior to Friday, April 13th will have their pass mailed to them or placed at will call upon request startingMonday, April 16th.


The Ticket Office will host a Choose-A-Seat program the morning of the Spring Game, starting at10 a.m. on the 28th. Individuals who have yet to purchase season tickets can do so at this time. Customer service stations will be located at Gate A and Gate C inside the west concourse and customers looking to purchase season tickets must have a valid Green and White game ticket to gain admission. Ticket Office representatives will be on hand with virtual maps to show customers available seats that can be purchased. The Choose-A-Seat a program will last until halftime of the Spring Game. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. for all others attending the game that day.
