Japanese Chemical Plant with Radioactive Waste Struck by Lightning

Lightning has triggered the explosion of a  petro-chemical plant in Japan.  According to an alternative news site from that country, 3,379 units of radioactive uranium waste (200 L)  is preserved at the site. Japan nuclear watchdog site, Fukushima Diary, has confirmed the presence of depleted uranium. However, a government official has told them that location of the facility is not in danger.

Although there has been one death, several injuries and broken windows, but no detailed report has been issued on the containment of the uranium and other radioactive waste.  The video comes from a resident who lives near the plant.
