The Saginaw Sting prevailed 49-42 over the Huntington Hammer in an Ultimate Indoor Football League game before an attendance of about 1,000 people.
The game was close most of the night, but it was the Saginaw Sting that came up with the needed defensive plays in the fourth quarter to keep any threat of the Huntington Hammer from tying or winning the game.
