Marshall athletes representing many varsity sports were busy on the three hour project starting at 6 PM, Thursday, April 14, painting, scrubbing the stove, sweeping up floors both inside and outside, cleaning kitchen tables and chairs from top to bottom and cleaning the glass windows.
Armed with cleaning solutions, rags, towels and gloves the student athletes were getting into some tough spots getting them clean.
Huntington City Mission Volunteer Coordinator Lynn Clagg instructed the student athletes on what she wanted done.
Clagg said, "With a group this size of about 40, we will get done 120 hours of work in three hours."
