The 1st Annual Green Acres Foundation Cinco de Mayo celebration  will be held at the American Legion Post 16 on May 5th from 5-8 p.m. Complementing the all you can eat Mexican Buffet,  celebrity waiters and waitresses will accommodate your culinary needs.

The celebrity waiters and waitresses thus far are: The Herald Dispatch team of Dave Lavender and Beth Shoemaker-Hendricks, Former Mayor of Huntington and Radio Talk show host, Bobby Nelson, The Cabell County Young Democrats, Local Radio Personality, JD Craiger, Cabell County Manager and Sports Announcer, Chris Tatum, and West Virginia Senator, Evan Jenkins, Opal Sanders and her son Austin. Special honored Guest will be "Peanut" that was mentioned in Rick Simmons article in the Herald Dispatch.

The cost of the tickets is $10 each or a table of 8 for $75. To reserve your tickets contact Lacey Ward at (304) 762-2522. Our Goal is to sell 20 tables and we have sold eight ......We need 12 more tables. A Representative from Senator Manchin's Office will be there as will several elected officials .

 A six foot trophy has been ordered for the waiter/waitress who gets the most tips. The Celebrity waiters and waitresses have been instructed to do almost anything to get tips! I can't wait to see what they wear!!!!

A Cash Bar will be set up and Green Acres gets 50 cents from every Margarita and 25 cents from every Corona sold.......Gonna be  an emotion packed evening...Laugh alot, Cry a little and have a lot of fun.  Only a few days left to get your tickets....E-mail me or call me at Green Acres 304 762-2522
