Marshall Baseball Players in the Pros – Summer Update #3

Special to HuntingtonNews.Net

HUNTINGTON, WV -- Sacramento River Cats starting pitcher Dan Straily and Vancouver Canadians relief pitcher Ian Kadish continued steamrolling the opposition with a seemingly endless supply of punchouts over the last week of action.

Straily struck out seven hitters in seven scoreless innings in the River Cats definitive 12-0 victory over the Fresno Grizzlies on Thursday.  Across the border and nearly 800 miles due north, Kadish put on a show in three relief efforts, striking out six in 3.1 innings of work.  Kadish struck out the side in Thursday’s triumph of Salem-Keizer and again in Saturday’s win over Everett.

Meanwhile, Greg Williams began a rehab assignment with the AZL Rangers last week and looked good with two strikeouts in a hitless inning of work.
