Huntington Sanitary Board Meets Wednesday at 4 p.m.; Stormwater Committee at 5:30 p.m.

Special to HNN from a Provided Press Release

HUNTINGTON, WV (HNN) -  Although it's apparently just for the "special call" meeting, the Huntington Sanitary Board has graciously moved the meeting time to 4 p.m. in council chambers. Previously, council members and the public have complained that  the 8:30 a.m. regular meeting time conflicts with most work schedules.

The Board will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in council chambers at Huntington City Hall.

On the agenda will be three items --- the budget, the Hal Greer extension project and the Naval Reserve Center.

(Editor’s Note: Huntington City Council on Monday tabled the proposed acquisition of the Naval Reserve Center, so this item may be moot.)

Following the HSB meeting, the Storm Water Committee will convene at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers.

Both meetings are televised live on Comcast channel 24.
