Cabell Midland Defeats HHS for Sectional Championship

HUNTINGTON-WV  (HNN)  What a difference a day makes. On Friday night, Huntington High defeated Cabell Midland 8-6, in a nail biter, forcing a third and deciding game Saturday.

Cabell Midland High School came back with a vengeance to defeat Huntington High School 10-0 in five innings on Saturday afternoon  to win the Class AAA, Region IV, Section 4 Championship. Midland had taken the Thursday night game, 13-7.

Cabell Midland advances to play Hurricane in  a Region IV semi-final game.  The game is scheduled to be played May 23 at 7 PM at Cabell Midland High School.
