Wayne Overwhelms Tolsia for Sectional Victory

WAYNE,WV  (HNN) -  Wayne won the Class AA, Region IV, Sectional  4 Championship at Wayne with a 12-1 baseball  victory over Tolsia High School in a five inning game.

Wayne pitcher Brandon Maynard  came close  to a no hitter and shutout, Tolsia's Zack Perry got a single in the top of the fifth inning  and was able to score.

Wayne will play Chapmanville in a regional semi-final game at Wayne on May 24 at 6 PM.
