Working on a tiny budget, documentary director Mark Cowen, directed a two day series of re-enactments for "Hatfields & McCoys: America's Feud," which through photos, historians, descendants and re-enactments complete the story of the feud which has captured award nominations from Emmys to Golden Globes and brought record viewership to The History Channel. The documentary re-airs Christmas Day at 12 noon on the History Channel.

These photos captured by the Trifecta Productions illustrate the "making of" re-enactment portion of the documentary shot on Heritage Farm near Huntington.
