Pea Ridge Shooting Leaves One Dead

A man who ran out of a Beech Drive apartment in Pea Ridge has died of his injuries. The initial dispatch came at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday evening, Jan. 3.

Cabell County Sheriff's Deputies and members of the WV State Police Responded.

Law enforcement has stated that Christopher Carter, 25,  died from a wound to his chest. Investigation is ongoing. Some reports suggest the involvement of drugs.

Officers are looking for two suspects; no names or description have yet been released.
