“Hatfields and McCoys”  has again scored in the Hollywood year end award nominations. The three-part mini-series broadcast on The History Channel has been nominated for the David L. Wopner Award for Outstanding Producer of Long-Form Television.

Milton, WV native and Marshall University graduate, Darrell Fetty, is nominated also with his fellow producers Barry Berg, Kevin Costner, Leslie Greif and Herb Nanas.

(Fetty also produced the companion documentary, “America’s Feud” which was lensed by Huntington’s Trifecta Productions and reenactment scenes were shot at Huntington’s Heritage Farm.)

The PGA also named its picks for producers of television movies and miniseries. Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story," the team behind HBO film "Game Change" about Sarah Palin's 2008 vice presidential bid, and Britain's modern twist on detective Sherlock Holmes "Sherlock" were among the five making the cut.

They were joined by "Hatfields & McCoys," about a legendary family feud starring Kevin Costner who was also one of the producers, and the PBS chronicle of the 1930s drought "The Dust Bowl."
