Courtney landed the pivotal role of Joe Lamb in J.J. Abrams “Super 8,” which was short in and around Weirton, WV. He has since played Tom Sawyer in the yet to be released “Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn” , shot the “Healer,” and a Fox TV pilot, “Rogue.”

Based upon King’s short story “Gramma,”  the two boys proceed to grandma’s house not knowing that she is a witch deep in the evil covens of black magic.

Warner Bros. shot three weeks of "We Are Marshall" on location in Huntington and on the Marshall University campus.
