DEVELOPING: Three Arrests Made in Connection with Armed Robberies Near Marshall

Huntington Police have made three arrests in connection with two armed robberies reported Friday , Jan 18, and Saturday, Jan. 19, within blocks of 20th Street and Fifth Avenue.

During Friday’s incident three or four armed men approached Marshall students in the 2000 block of Buffington Avenue around 10:20 p.m. . No injuries occurred but the victims had their wallets taken.

On Saturday night, at about 10:15 p.m., on a Marshall University parking lot behind Domino’s Pizza and near Stadium Spirits at 20th Street and Sixth Avenue. Police are searching for two black male suspects in their 20s who had guns.. Victim descriptions indicate one man was 5’10” and wore a green Marshall hoodie and the second light skinned wearing a white cap.
