BOOK NOTES: 'Hatfields & McCoys' author signing at the Gallery

The Gallery will host a meet-and-greet and book signing event with Woodland Press author, F. Keith Davis, co-author of "The Feuding Hatfields & McCoys." Davis also edited and published "The Tale of the Devil: The Biography of Devil Anse Hatfield (by Dr. Coleman C. Hatfield)," "The Devil's Son: Cap Hatfield and the End of the Hatfield and McCoy Feud (by Anne Black Gray)," and penned regional bestsellers, "The Secret Life and Brutal Death of Mamie Thurman" and "West Virginia Tough Boys."
Davis was also one of the historians interviewed and featured in the recent HISTORY channel documentary, "Americia's Greatest Feud: Hatfields and McCoys," narrated by Kevin Costner. He also provided historical resource material and photographs for the documentary and miniseries, produced by Thinkfactory Media for HISTORY channel.
Joining Davis will be Bram Stoker Award-Winning editor and nationally-acclaimed horror and thriller writer Michael Knost.
He has written several chart-topping books, dozens of short stories, and edited a number of well-known anthologies, including the award-winning national bestseller, "Writers Workshop of Horror"; and he currently writes a column for Shroud Magazine. His most popular book titles include "Fed from the Blade," "Legends of the Mountain State," Specters in Coal Dust," The Mothman Files," and more.
