These are some photos of the February 2nd snow storm taken by photographer Glen Berry near East Lynne Lake. Considering the harsh impact which the storm brought , it is well chosen that the first photo has been titled "Chaos."

  • "Chaos" - (These trees had snapped and fallen in a previous storm.)
  • Big Lynn Creek had frozen over during the storm. It had also risen above its banks, due to the large quantity of water being released from the East Lynn damn, located upstream.
  • Big Lynn Creek Road was covered with a layer of snow, which hid a layer of ice underneath.
  • The East Lynn Post Office - "Neither rain, nor snow..."
  • Ferns were peeking through the snow, on the side of a cliff.
  • Icicles hung from many of the cliffs in the area.
  • With the addition of snow, a parking stop becomes a work of minimalist modern art.
  • This "Phillips 66" sign has seen better days.
  • The sign says "Road Closed", but few people were out driving anyway.
