MAYOR STEVE WILLIAMS MEETS WITH HUNTINGTON YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

At the event, hosted by the Huntington Young Professionals Committee, Mayor Williams charged the group with working hard to create the Huntington they'd like to see. He said he believes Huntington should look beyond comparisons to Barboursville and Charleston and look to what cities like Lexington, Pittsburgh and Columbus are doing.
YPC's next event will be "Fridays at 5" -- a networking event Friday, March 8 at 5 p.m. at Pub and Oven in downtown Huntington.
The Huntington YPC is a subcommittee of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce. YPC provides networking opportunities to area young professionals, educating them through various speakers and workshops. The YPC also provides an outlet for young professionals to give back to the community. If you live in the Tri-State and are between the ages of 21 and 45, YPC is the right place for you. For more information visit huntingtonypc.com or www.facebook.com/HuntingtonYPC. To join, email Carly Knotts at carly@huntingtonchamber.org.
