Heroic Fire Fighter to be Sworn in as Huntington Fire Chief

Carl Eastham, the heroic firefighter whose helmet melted at the Emmons Junior apartment fire, will be sworn in as Huntington's new fire chief. The ceremony will occur Thursday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at Huntington City Hall.
