Huntington Firefighters Put Down Chase Street Structure Fire

Huntington Fire Fighters fought a fully involved structure fire in the 3800 block of Chase Street. Six dogs escaped, the flames which started shortly after the residents left the structure . The first dispatch came at 6:07 p.m. on Saaturday, March 10. Firefighters returned to the scene when it rekindled.

In an interview, the renter indicated he had turned off electrical heaters before leaving. No word on the fire's cause.
