The Huntington Hammer Indoor Football Team will be participating with other area organizations in The United Way’s Success by 6 program. The United Way River Cities will be putting on an afternoon of free family fun with games, prizes, and activities on February 5th, 2011 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena

The Huntington Hammer will have players on-hand giving autographs and schedules to families. The Hammer will also have a special child-size skills course set up similar to what the players themselves compete in at professional try-out camps.

This is the 11th annual Super Kids, Super Families, Super Saturday will be held from 11am to 2pm with activities for children that highlight the “12 Tips for Raising a Healthy Child”. Huntington Hammer Director of Team Operations Mary Cerullo said, “This is a great chance for us to let the parents and children meet some of the players and have some fun with the kids. We know that programs like Success by 6 are important to help the future of our community and are really glad to be a part.”
