A "Buckwild" cast member and two others , including a family member, have been found dead on a road near Sisssonville, WV. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office reported that Shain Gandee, 21, David Gandee, 48, and an unidentified individual were fond inside Shain's 1984 Ford Bronco which was stuck in the mud. Ironically, the series first episode had him rescued by friends after he blew his truck motor from going  "mudding."

At this time foul play is not suspected. Photos and reports from the scene indicate the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning, as the truck was partially submerged in the mud on the back road.

Gandee starred with other West Virginians in their 20s in the rude, crude, down, and dirty MTV series which developed a strong following. Producers have suspended production of a second season. Two cast members, Salwa Amin, 24, and Michael "Bluefoot" Burford have been arrested. Burfod for DUI, but Ms. Amin remains jailed without bond for allegedly possessing oxycodone and heroin.

MTV issued the following statement:

"We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident," the statement reads. "We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."
