Huntington Artwalkers may want to gaze at comic and fantasy art pieces on display 5-9 p.m. at Empire Books as part of the May Art Walk. Featuring a smorgasbord of art --- from classic photography to crafts and even comic art, the Huntington Artwalk takes place Thursday, in downtown Huntington. The venues span from Fourth Avenue, to Third Avenue and to Pullman Square.

Visitors have the opportunity to view exhibits, chat with artists, and make purchases. “The Artwalk benefits EVERYONE. It's good for our community, local businesses, and the city as a whole,” said Elsa Littlepage, who along with Chris Hayes founded the event. “We pride ourselves on being eclectic and full of personality, our art scene is part of what makes Huntington so special”.

Among the artists and venues this month will be The Antique Mall, 926 Fourth Avenue, (which features Crumpets and Tea and Custom Framing by Jenks) Patty DelCheccollo, Cheryl Canterbury, Jimmy Robinson; Morrison Studios, Michael Flinn; Empire Books at Pullman Square, Todd Frazer (Scribbles and Splotches); Huntington Prime, 910 Fourth Avenue, Beth and Graham Rankin;  Simply Whisk, 901 Fourth Avenue, April Morrison (photography).
