HUNTINGTON, WV (HNN) – Before introducing this week’s new movies, a word for hasty exiting patrons from Marvel’s “Captain America.” You missed something. You missed something awesome. And you will wait until next summer to see the entire flick. Stay in your seat and catch a teaser trailer featuring an assembly of Marvel Universe characters for 2012’s, “The Avengers.”

Captain America, Thor, and Spiderman are members. Nick Fury (Agent of SHIELD) is too. You will see a glimpse of Hawkeye and Black Widow.

Although this will not let you see what’s on the end of “Captain,” you can click on the reelzchannel site and watch an “Avengers” preview and interview. http://www.reelzchannel.com/movie/262408/the-avengers/

TAKE TWO... WEEKEND FIRST Movie Comings, Goings
Stay tuned for a review of a flick that’s best labeled a romantic sexual comedy, “Friends with Benefits.” It opened last week. Don’t strike it from you list since the genre has been hapless and clichéd lately. Not saying this torpedoes the trend, but it’s has a laugh along premise of boy meets girl but both are either emotionally unavailable or emotionally distressed, so , what happens? They become good friends and decide a little ‘casual sex’ won’t ruin the friendship.

THIS WEEKEND we’ll see if the ever growing older Harrison Ford still has what it takes for leading man. “Crazy Stupid Love” will be another effort to reverse the fortunes of romantic comedy. And, “Smurfs 3D,” will give mom or dad a flick to which to send the youngsters in the family.

"The Help" Coming Aug 10
"The Help" Coming Aug 10

Horrible Bosses: Colin Farrell, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day have bosses from Hades. They decide the only way to happiness is to waste their superior. Their murderous plan soon snowballs into chaos. Directed by Seth (“Four Christmases”) Gordon, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Aniston (as a foul mouthed dentist) have supporting roles. IMDB suggests a dude’s version of “Nine to Five.” Boxoffice Magazine believes this could be “one of the summer’s biggest sleepers” due to the excellent cast and high concept premise.

Zookeeper: Griffin (Kevin James) is more comfortable with the king of beasts than a member of the opposite sex. And the feeling is mutual, women leave him due to his unglamorous job which bodes no future nestegg. When he decides to quit, his animals start talking to teach him about courtship. James has a solid track record for family comedy, having toplined “Paul Blart” and “Grown Ups.”

JULY 15:

Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows (Part 2 in 3D): A decade after it began, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) go back to Hogwarts for the fight to the death duel between Harry and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). David (“Order of the Phoenix,” “Half Blood Prince” “Part One Deathly Hallows”) Yates has a challenge faced by few directors --- Bringing a mega-tentpole franchise to a noteworthy close. Or, will J.K. Rowling give in and pen another Potter novel?

JULY 22:

Captain America the First Avenger: One of the first characters upon which Marvel built its universe, Chris Evans stars as a meek World War II soldier who gains powers beyond most mortals after consuming an experimental serum. Hugo Weaving plays the Captain’s nemeses, the dreaded Red Skull.

Friends with Benefits: Headhunter (Mila Kunis) persuades recruit (Justin Timberlake) to forsake his job in San Francisco and move to the Big Apple. Both have been avoiding relationships and they both realize their chemistry is bubbling. Instead of hooking up, they decide to be best friends with nighttime benefits. Will no strings attached solve their sexual and personal issues?

Rounding out the summer:

JULY 29: Cowboys & Aliens; Crazy Stupid Love; Smurfs (3D);

AUGUST 5: The Change Up; Rise of the Planet of the Apes;

AUGUST 12: Thirty Minutes or Less; Final Destination V;  Glee Live 3D; The Help;
