Afternoon Thunderstorm Floods Streets, Viaducts; Flood Warning Issued

The National Weather Service issued a FLOOD WARNING until 6:30 p.m. for Cabell County, where up to 1.5 inches per hour of rainfall is possible.....  A Monday afternoon thunderstorm has drenched Huntington, closing streets and viaducts mostly in the central and eastern portions of the city. Third, Fourth and Fifth Avenues are blocked by water at 23rd to  26th Street (as of 4:30 p.m.) per the NWS)..... Emergency responders warn you should not attempt to drive through high water.... Further showers are possible....
