CHARLESTON, W.Va. – United States Attorney Booth Goodwin confirmed  that former Mingo County Chief Magistrate Dallas Toler was arrested last night for violating the conditions of his release on bond. Toler had been free on bond since he pleaded guilty on December 2, 2013, to procuring a false voter registration application.

The arrest came in response to a motion filed by Goodwin’s office detailing Toler’s involvement in illegal drug activity. The full motion is available here, and the Court is expected to schedule a hearing on the motion soon.
