West Virginia DHHR Releases Elk River Chemical Spill ER Record Review

600 people checked themselves into Emergency Rooms during the Elk River chemical spill and reported symptoms consistent with what federal  epidemiologists called “mild” illnesses, such as rash, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

But a mystery still exists concerning short and long term effects of the MCHM chemical in the water of about 300,000 residents.
