Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Huntington’s

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (HNN) - West Virginia American Water has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory for customers on Spring Valley Drive from I-64 to Buena Vista Drive, Waco Road, North Jefferson Road, South Jefferson Drive and Lookout Drive in Huntington.

The advisory followed a water main break Wednesday, which West Virginia American Water crews have repaired. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
