The McDonald's Tri-State Criterium Returns to Downtown Huntington

The McDonald's Tri-State Criterium returns to downtown Huntington this Saturday. Racing starts at 3 p.m.

Third Avenue between 8th and 10th streets will be closed to traffic at 1 p.m. to begin preparations for the races. Fourth Avenue between 8th and 10th streets as well as 8th, 9th and 10th streets between 3rd and 4th avenues will be closed to traffic at 2:30 p.m. All streets will reopen at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Spectators and fans are welcome to line the sidewalks of the course and watch, but they are advised to use caution when attempting to cross the street and should follow instructions from race volunteers.

The 8th Street entrance to the Municipal Parking Garage across from the Big Sandy Superstore Arena also will be closed to traffic during the races. However, the parking garage will be accessible from the 7th Street entrance.
