Although there was a lot of green for the 284 in attendance as Marshall took on the The Green Wave, the green will merge with blue and gold on Wednesday night January 19, when both the womens and mens teams play WVU in Charleston.
Marshall having some injuries to key players has had to use younger inexperienced players that will have to learn and step things up according to Marshall head Coach Royce Chadwick.
Tulane jumped out to an early 30-22 lead at the intermission and then cruised to the 68-38 win.
Tulane with the 15-2 record is listed in first place in Conference USA with a 3-0 conference record above Houston. Marshall is 5-11 overall and 1-3 in Conference USA.
