Ritter Live, We Are Marshall Flick Open September

The Greater Huntington Parks and Recreation Commission has a movie night and two concerts schedule in September.

Marshall's story  of triumph through tragedy comes Sept. 5 at 8:30 p.m. to the Heritage Sttation Courtyard as part of the Cinema Under the Stars series. "We are Marshall," directed by McG, depicts the university's struggle to field the 'Young Thundering Herd' following a devastating plane crash.

Ritter Live kicks off September 7 at the amphitheater with six local acts spanning the 1-7 p.m. concert. Bands include Beth & Alesha, Curt Mann & Zack Booth, Alyssa Lackey , District 17, Of the Dell, Wartime Radio, and Torn in Two.

Party on the Patio, Sept. 20 features Stephen Salyers "In Pink" from 7-11 p.m. at Heritage Station. The Nashville based singer/song writer will soon release a new single, "I"m Not Sorry."
