Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington to Hold Their 1st Annual Community Days!

The Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington will host their 1st Annual Community Days on Saturday, September 20th from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 611 6th Avenue in Huntington, West Virginia to celebrate the diversity within our community, increase visibility of local nonprofit organizations, and showcase the talents and wares of many community members. 

 

The event is free and open to the public.  Demonstrations, performances, and activities include Blacksmithing, Fire-Spinning, Spray-Painting, Face Painting, Hooping,Yoga, World Dance,Drumming, and Crafts.  There will also be Tarot Card Readings; various local vendorsoffering homemade candies, crafts, soaps, scents; and yard sale items.  

 

Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington presidentLinda Greer says of the event:Community Days is an event where we celebrate the diverse talents of our local artisans.  It's a chance to clean the closet and contribute to a good cause.  You can come for the entertainment and check us out without having to go to service or meeting.  Come and see why we affectionately call ourselves "tribe"."
