RUTHERFORD ON FILM: Huntington Theaters Slate Open Captioned Films for Hearing Impaired

Huntington (HNN) –Do you hate subtitled flicks? Well, if you're deaf, open captioning – the same as visible subtitles – becomes the best way to absorb the film's dialogue.
Greater Huntington Theatre Corporation and Marquee Cinemas recently agreed to present a series of films for hearing challenged moviegoers.
The films will show about every three weeks in Charleston and Huntington.
The film line ups and theatres are:
June 14–15, "The Pacifier," Cinema Theatre, Huntington, 5:25–7:35
July 9–10, "Sahara," Park Place Stadium Cinemas (Charleston)
July 13–14, "Sahara, Marquee Pullman Square (Huntington)
July 31–Aug 1, "Longest Yard," Marquee Southride (Charleston)
Aug 3–4, "Longest Yard," Cinema Theatre (Huntington)
Aug 21–22, TBA (Park Place Stadium, Charleston)
Aug 24–25 TBA (Marquee Pullman Square, Huntington)
